Hey I’m Sarah
I first joined Ashford Fit Club back in September 2015, and it’s been such an amazing journey! A friend persuaded me to join because we’d seen an advert on Facebook, we wanted to get fit as we liked to run anyway, and it looked so much more fun than any other class I’d been to, we just had to give it a go!
That first night we turned up I was petrified that I wasn’t going to be able to keep up, and not knowing what to expect I gave it my all… I left with such a buzz! I couldn’t stop telling people about it and never missed a session if I could help it. Fast forward a few months.. I’d built up so much confidence through meeting new people, that I approached Head Coach Chris about the possibility of becoming a coach. The coaches and Fitclubbers welcomed me with open arms and it’s been my passion ever since!
I try to make my workouts tough but varied. The feeling of knowing you’ve given over 100 people a great workout, and had fun at the same time is the best feeling ever! It’s inspired me to become a Personal Trainer, to learn more skills to be able to give so much more back to the Fitclubbers!
We at AFC are there for people of all capabilities, we try to encourage good nutrition alongside exercise to help everyone meet their goals be them big or small!! We’re a supportive and friendly family.. be it for group charity runs, personal goals or solo achievements.. why not come give us a try!!
